Chipped Beef Gravy
I love to cook and have a twelve-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis. Knowing the challenge most cystic fibrosis patients have getting adequate nutrition, I embraced the challenge to make food that is big on taste, as well as having extra calories to boost nutritional value. I am always creating my own version of recipes as I can always rely on family to be honest when tasting new things. I always say if all three of my children like the same recipe it is always a keeper.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut chipped beef to desired size (approximately 1/2" square).

Melt butter in 10" frying pan.
Step 3
Add chopped meat to melted butter and heat until chipped beef starts to curl around edges. About 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add flour and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes so flour doesn't taste raw.
Step 5
Slowly add half and half or cream and dash of Worcestershire sauce.

Step 7
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over buttered toast or biscuits.
